مجموعه عکس‌هایی که از مجسمه‌های زیرآبی استانبول گرفته شده، در یک موزه به‌نمایش درآمد. مجموعه عکسی که «جیسون دو کِرز تیلور» هنرمند مطرح انگلیسی از پارک زیرآبی مجسمه استانبول ثبت کرده، ‌در ماه جاری میلادی در موزه نظامی بزرگ‌ترین و معروف‌ترین شهر ترکیه در معرض دید عموم قرار گرفت.

مجسمه‌های زیر آب‌های دریای مرمره، کاری هنری از «تیلور» غواص و هنرمند معروفی است که به تازگی از سوی مجله «نشنال جئوگرافیک» به‌عنوان یکی از 25 شگفتی جهان شناخته شد. تیلور غواصی متبحر و عکاسی حرفه‌ای است که در اروپا و آسیا رشد کرد. او بیشتر دوران کودکی خود را در سواحل مرجانی مالزی گذراند. وی با داشتن 20 سال سابقه غواصی و تدریس این ورزش، در عکاسی زیر آب هم مهارت دارد و آثار مطرحی در زمینه عکاسی زیر آب دارد.

تیلور در سال 2006 اولین پارک زیرآبی مجسمه را در گرانادا راه‌اندازی کرد. این اثر هنری از نگاه «نشنال جئوگرافیک» یکی از عجایب جهان شناخته شد. سال 2009 بود که او موزه‌ای دربردارنده 500 مجسمه، زیر آب‌های سواحل کانکون مکزیک تأسیس کرد. نشریه «فوربز» این مکان را یکی از بی‌نظیرترین جاذبه‌های گردشگری می‌داند.
براساس این گزارش، مجسمه‌های «تیلور» نمادی واحد از هنر و علم هستند. این آثار با مواد سازگار با محیط زیست ساخته شده‌اند که به رشد و گسترش صخره‌های مرجانی کمک می‌کنند. او در این زمینه با زیست‌شناسان مشاوره می‌کند و نتایج آخرین پژوهش‌های آن‌ها را در ساخت آثارش به کار می‌برد.
به گزارش حریت دیلی‌نیوز، آثار هنری «تیلور» در عمق کم خلق می‌شوند تا گسترش و رشد مرجان‌ها را تحریک کنند و علاوه بر آن، افراد علاقه‌مند با سوار شدن بر قایق‌هایی با کف‌شیشه‌ای به راحتی بتوانند از آن‌ها دیدن کنند.
تیلور درباره کارهایش گفته است: کندن آثار هنری از روی دیوارهای سفید گالری‌ها، به مخاطب امکان کشف و مشارکت در فرآیند خلق اثر را می‌دهد.
در چند دهه اخیر 40 درصد صخره‌های مرجانی جهان از بین رفته‌اند و پیش‌بینی می‌شود این رقم تا سال 2050 به 80 درصد برسد. کاری که «تیلور» انجام می‌دهد، نوعی استفاده از نبوغ هنری برای کمک به اکوسیستمی است که زندگی ما به آن وابسته است.
